A Family-Owned Construction Company with Deep Local Roots

Chap Construction has been serving Ocean County and the Jersey Shore since 1972. Founded by brothers Chuck and Hap Laing, Chap began with plumbing and electrical services and quickly expanded into full-scale residential construction, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, and home additions.

Today, the company is in its third generation of family leadership. Randy Laing, who took over operations in 2009, now works alongside his sons Drew and RJ. Chap Construction has operated under the same EIN since its founding – proof of its stability, integrity, and long-term commitment to customer satisfaction.
